Postgraduate Intensive English (PIE) is a programme offered by Centre for the Advancement of Language Competence (CALC), as an alternative that can be chosen by students who do not meet the University’s English language requirements before registering as full-time postgraduate students in Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Aim

To provide English Language proficiency courses for postgraduate students with provisional admission offer or non-graduating status in fulfilling the English language requirements for admission to UPM without compromising on quality of teaching and learning with reasonable fee.

International applicants who have been offered to enroll in UPM but not fulfill University’s English language requirement
